China Media Group (CMG) held an event in Madrid on Monday to promote cultural exchanges between China and Spain.
At an event dedicated to the opportunities presented to the world by China's deepening reforms in the new era, representatives of CMG and Spanish media agreed to cooperate in the fields of media, television and film production and the arts.
CMG Chairman Shen Haixiong said the recently concluded Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was another milestone in the country's reform and opening-up in the new era, outlining more than 300 reform measures to be completed by 2029.
China's modernisation will surely bring more benefits to the world, Shen added.
Ignasi Camos, Director General of the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, said that relations between Spain and China have remained at a high level since the two countries established diplomatic relations around half a century ago.
He added that he expects the two sides to deepen their friendship and contribute to solving the global problems of humanity.
