China Media Group (CMG) launched an exhibition of premium TV and film programming in São Paulo on November 8, shortly before the 31st APEC Economic Leaders Summit.
More than 20 high-quality Chinese shows, including documentaries, animations and films, will begin airing on more than ten Brazilian media platforms, including Box Brazil Media Group.
In a video speech, CMG President Shen Haixiong stressed that the event symbolizes 50 years of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. He said the broadcast programs will strengthen cultural exchanges and introduce Chinese culture and friendship to Brazilian audiences.
Chinese Consul General in São Paulo Yu Peng stressed the importance of the growing partnership between the two countries and highlighted the role of film and television cooperation as a key tool of cultural diplomacy.
As part of the event, CMG and Box Brazil Media Group signed a cooperation agreement that will bring more Chinese documentaries and dramas to Brazilian screens and further strengthen media cooperation between the two countries.
