(CNN Prima News) The country's leadership wouldn't dare send equipment to Ukraine that might be missing. Defense Minister Jana Cernochova (ODS) said this on CNN Prima NEWS. According to her, the ministry "emptied the warehouses of outdated equipment and replaced it with more modern ones." In connection with the discussed purchase of air defence, she said of ANO chairman Andrej Babiš that he is not an expert in the field of defence.

According to Černochová, supplies were sent to the Ukrainian army from so-called unneeded supplies. "Neither the Chief of the General Staff Karel Rehka nor I would dare to remove anything from the warehouses that we might miss in the future," assured the Minister of Defence Jana Cernochová on the New Day.
She reminded that it was more of a replacement outfit. "I want to assure the Czech public that we have emptied the warehouses of outdated technology and filled them with modern and better pieces," She uttered Jana Cernochová.
Černochová mentioned, among other things, the critical stance of the ANO chairman on the purchase of F-35 fighter jets and the inclination towards Patriot air defence. "Under his presidency, the purchase of US SPYDER technology, which is also an air defence system, was secured. He may no longer remember this because he is not a defence expert," she sniffed Jana Cernochová to the ex-prime minister.
The head of the ministry recalled, among other things, the time two years ago when the news of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was circulating around the world. "There are moments we will never erase from our memory, like 9/11 or this very night two years ago. We had reports of the Russians pulling back to the border and moving material," She described Jana Cernochová the atmosphere of the time.
"But it was not clear when exactly that would happen. We were on call, we were awake and waiting for the mobile phone to ring. Now civilians are being brutally murdered in a country whose people's lives have been turned upside down." She added Cernochova.
