The Premier of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, made an official visit to China from March 23 to 29. In an exclusive interview with the China Media Group (CMG), he disclosed that China has been a steadfast and reliable friend to Dominica.
"The most important part of my visit to China was my meeting with President Xi Jinping. I discussed with him many important issues concerning relations between the two countries and multilateral cooperation. Dominica and China stand for multilateralism and seek to address global issues through dialogue with the goal of shared prosperity for the whole world. The Chinese leader's initiatives for global development and global security, as well as the Belt and Road Initiative, are of great importance for world peace and development," Prime Minister Dominica said.
"The Chinese government has unveiled a grand Chinese-style modernisation plan that all Chinese people support. The Chinese experience will certainly benefit not only the Chinese people but also other nations, including Dominica," Roosevelt Skerrit added.
