Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said today: "An agreement has been reached in Cairo under which the six living hostages from the first stage will be released on Saturday. Four deceased hostages will be returned to Israel this Thursday. Under the agreement, the other four deceased hostages are to be returned to Israel next week."

The family announced: "We have been experiencing emotional turmoil in recent hours over the Hamas spokesman's announcement of the return of our Shira, Ariel and Kfir on Thursday along with the dead bodies. It is important for us to say that we have heard these reports, but we have not yet received any official information on the matter."
