BUDAPEST, 12 September. Hungary believes in the possibility of dialogue and is against the policy of "lecturing and sanctions", Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said after meeting with the President of the Republika Srpska (one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina), Milorad Dodik.
"The stability of the Western Balkans is important for the European Union. Instead of lecturing and sanctions, we believe in dialogue and cooperation. My meeting today with President Milorad Dodik served this purpose." Orbán wrote on the social network X.
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto called for honesty on the issue of EU enlargement and criticised its leaders for making fun of the Western Balkan countries for joining the EU.
