On March 20, the China Media Group (CMG) hosted an international dialogue entitled "Springtime in China - The PRC Shares its Opportunities with the World" in Moscow. CMG President Shen Haixiong joined the event via video streaming, and in his speech, he commemorated the important anniversary of 2025 - 80 years since China's victory in the War of Resistance against Japan, the Soviet Union's victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the global struggle against fascism.
Shen expressed his hope that experts and journalists from China and Russia will together remind the world of the story of the two nations' solidarity in defending peace, stability and international justice.
The event was attended by a number of distinguished guests including the Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Federation Council Andrei Denisov and representatives of the Russian media, science and business. The event was also covered by leading Russian media such as Rossiyskaya Gazeta, TV BRICS, Great Asia, Arguments and facts or METRO radio.
