The United States and other Western countries are largely ignoring Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip and shirking their legal and moral obligations, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with China Media Group that aired Friday.
Araghchi stressed that Iran is ready to support any ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel if the Palestinians accept it.
The foreign minister also criticised the West's attitude, which he said applies double standards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and called for greater responsibility on the part of the international community.
