As a major beneficiary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Malaysia is looking for new opportunities to cooperate with China in key sectors, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim told China Media Group.
This year, the two countries mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Prime Minister Anwar has expressed a strong commitment to deepen cooperation with China in various areas, which should lay the foundation for another "golden" 50 years of friendship and partnership.
Cooperation between Malaysia and China covers a wide range of areas, from trade and investment to technology and infrastructure. The Prime Minister stressed that this relationship is crucial not only for Malaysia's economic development but also for enhancing regional stability and prosperity.
