On the afternoon of 9 May local time, Chinese President Xi Jinping's wife Peng Liyuan, accompanied by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's wife Anikó Lévai, visited a Hungarian and Chinese language school in Budapest.
When Peng Li-yuan arrived at the school, Anikó Lévai and the school principal warmly welcomed her and students lined the school with the national flags of China and Hungary.
Peng Li-yuan and Anikó Lévai followed the Chinese language course and the traditional Chinese culture course, such as paper cutting and calligraphy, with great interest and interacted warmly with the students. Peng Li-yuan said that the Hungarian and Chinese language school is a symbol of Sino-Hungarian friendship and she is very happy that the students speak Chinese very well. She wishes that students could learn Chinese and Chinese culture hard, have the opportunity to visit or study in China, and actively contribute to the heritage and promotion of Sino-Hungarian friendship.
