MOSCOW, 18 June. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a draft treaty on comprehensive strategic partnership with the DPRK, a document he intends to sign at a meeting with the republic's leader Kim Jong-un. The relevant order of the Russian leader has been made public.
"To accept the proposal of the Russian Foreign Ministry, agreed with the interested federal state bodies and organizations, to sign the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea," the document reads.
Putin instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry to make non-substantive changes to the draft treaty. "Consider it expedient to carry out the signing of the treaty envisaged by this order at the highest level," the order said.
