MOSCOW, April 24 /TASS/. Moscow is ready to work for the creation of a multipolar world order and strengthening global security with all interested partners, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a video message to participants of the 12th International Meeting of Senior Officials on Security Issues. The Russian leader expressed confidence that the 12th International Meeting of Senior Officials on Security Issues "will strengthen cooperation for the mutual benefit of our countries and peoples."
"Russia is ready to work closely with all interested partners to maintain global and regional security and to create a new multipolar international order that meets the interests of the majority of nations," the head of state stressed.
Putin noted that at the ongoing conference, representatives of various countries will "analyse the global situation, discuss key aspects of global and regional stability and share perspectives for strengthening responses to the most urgent and dangerous contemporary challenges."
The President expressed his conviction that the meeting "will strengthen cooperation for the mutual benefit of our countries and peoples in the interest of peace and stability throughout the world."
The Twelfth International Meeting of Senior Officials on Security Issues will be held in St Petersburg on 23-25 April. Delegations from 106 countries, headed by Security Council Secretaries, National Security Advisers and Advisers, Ministers and heads of special services, have arrived in Russia.
