On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Communications University of China, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, sent a letter to all professors and students, expressing his congratulations and greetings to all, including former students of the university.
In his letter, Si stressed that in the new era and new path, he hopes the university will fulfill its basic task of forming moral values and educating people, focusing on the needs of news and public opinion work, highlighting the characteristics of university management, but also deepening reform and innovation, constantly improving the level of teaching and scientific research, and striving to nurture more talents in journalism and communication.
Recently, the teachers and students of the Communication University sent a letter to Xi Jinping to report on the achievements of the university over the past 70 years since its founding, especially since the 18th Congress of the Communist Party of China.
