Slovak Prime Minister: US attack proves that the post-World War II world order is collapsing

On 3 January, the United States sent troops to forcibly seize Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife and remove them from the country. Many governments spoke out against this.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico On 3 September, he posted on social media criticising the military operation launched by the United States against Venezuela on the same day, stating that the US military operation in Venezuela further proves that the world order established after World War II is collapsing and that military force is being abused without the authorisation of the UN Security Council.

Some powerful countries believe that they can do whatever they want if it is in their own interests. He strongly rejects such actions, which undermine international law.
