* Fico and Orbán revealed the purpose of the US money on Facebook

"There is a grandiose scandal unfolding in America." said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico again by, that money from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) was used in Slovakia for political purposes in order to distort the political system and favour certain political parties. * Unemployment in the Czech Republic rose to 4.3 %. The Labour Office is making intensive use of active employment policy instruments

The Labour Office of the Czech Republic registered a total of 320 516 jobseekers as of 31 January 2025, 14 038 more than in December 2024. The share of the unemployed at the end of January rose to 4.3 % (an increase of 0.2 percentage point). (more here)
