On the occasion of Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Serbia, a ceremony was held on 7 May local time to launch the broadcast of the TV programme President Xi Jinping's Simple Speech: Classic Quotes Favoured by Xi Jinping (international version) in the Serbian capital Belgrade, produced by the Chinese media organisation China Media Group (CMG). Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic delivered a video message on the event and congratulated the TV show for being broadcast in Serbia.
President Xi Jinping's Plain Speech television program: Classic Quotes Favoured by Xi Jinping (International Version) focuses on topics such as shared prosperity, ecological civilisation and more, and carefully selects old Chinese books and classic quotes cited in important speeches, articles, and interviews of Chinese President Xi Jinping to showcase his vast and profound cultural heritage and deep kindness to the people, and to explain the unique spiritual identity, new era connotations, and global value of Chinese civilization.
