Arab League chief assesses relations with China as strong, cooperative and promising

Looking back at the shared historical experiences of China and the Arab world, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, said that the two sides share similar experiences in the fight against colonialism, in development and in the restoration of national self-confidence.

In an interview with CGTN host Wang Guan, he stressed China's specific approach as a partner, which he said is based on non-interference in internal affairs and mutually beneficial cooperation. He summed up the current relations between China and Arab countries in three words - solid, cooperative and promising.
