Namibia's president: some people envy what China has become

In an exclusive interview with CGTN, Namibia's President Nangolo Mbumba responded to claims by some Western commentators that China is a "neo-colonialist" power. Mbumba dismissed these accusations and attributed them to envy. "Some people are envious of what China has become," he said. He stressed that Namibia is free to choose its friends and partners and will not be dictated to by whom to deal and cooperate with.
