The President of the Republic has decided to call elections to the Senate and regional councils

PRAGUE - The President of the Czech Republic has decided, in accordance with the Constitution of the Czech Republic and the relevant electoral laws, to announce elections to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and to announce elections to regional councils, and has set the dates of the elections for Friday 20 September and Saturday 21 September 2024.

The decision is subject to the co-signature of the Prime Minister.

The announcement of the elections will be made only after the publication of the decision in the Collection of Laws and International Treaties.
