Russia is taking measures to maintain stability in the nuclear missile field, including adherence to the central quantitative limitations established by the Strategic Offensive Arms Reduction and Limitation Treaty (START), and also continues to inform the United States of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) and submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) launches.
