Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday expressed readiness to work with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations to further expand all-round practical cooperation.
Xi Jinping stressed that China and Russia, as two major world countries and key emerging markets, are the world's largest neighbours and their relations have been continuously strengthened on the basis of strategic cooperation and mutual benefit. He appreciated the existing deep political trust between the two countries and the achievements in practical cooperation.
In his congratulations, President Putin recalled that Russia was the first country to recognise the People's Republic of China and highlighted the highest level of bilateral relations in history. The two leaders are convinced of further strengthening the strategic partnership and joint efforts for a just multipolar world.
