MOSCOW: On 21 January at 12:00 Moscow time, more than ten thousand Communists from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), led by their chairman Gennady A. Zyuganov in memory of V. I. Lenin. The closest leadership of the KSRF party and international guests were present. They paid tribute to the memory of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin on the centenary of his death with flowers and tributes at the Lenin Mausoleum and laid flowers at the graves of prominent Soviet leaders at the Kremlin Wall.
After the commemorative act, Gennady Andreyevich Zyuganov delivered a speech in which he recalled Lenin's greatness and power, his importance not only for the USSR but also for the whole world. He stressed that one of the first things Lenin did was to provide education and work for the benefit of the country. He literally built a new world. The main purpose of Lenin's contribution to society was first and foremost humanism, justice, solidarity of peoples, work for all for the benefit of Russian society and a peaceful life in the families of the time.
Zyuganov added: "You won't find a library in the world where a volume of V. I. Lenin's works is not stored. His implemented ideas and the new system in our country showed the world as the first fairer society." G. A. Zyuganov quoted Maxim Gorky, who was asked why he worshipped V. I. Lenin so much? The answer was unequivocal: because he brought us peace, work, education and worked for the interests of his nation.
