NEW YORK, 10 October - Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has refused to participate in another round of debates with his Democratic rival, US Vice President Kamala Harris.
"It is very late, the voting has already started - there will be no retaliation! Besides, Kamala made it clear yesterday that she won't do anything other than Joe Biden, so there's nothing to debate," wrote on his Truth Social page in response to an invitation from Fox News to host a debate on October 24 or 27.
He noted that he accepted an invitation from Fox News "to debate with Kamala on September 4, but she turned him down". He also boasted of his growing popularity among voters, even in all swing states, saying that "leading in the polls, and his lead is increasing every day".
