US President Donald Trump has called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ungrateful.
Specifically, in an interview on Fox TV on Sunday, Trump said that Zelensky taking money provided by the Biden administration was "like taking candy from a child."
Speaking about Russian President Vladimir Putin, he said: "I got on well with Putin. Putin would be the first to say this: no one has been tougher on Russia than Donald Trump. If you think about it, I've been tougher on Russia than anyone else. First it was the farce of 'Russia, Russia, Russia' which was very bad and could have led to war. Schiff and all those nincompoops started it. As for defense cuts - not now. I'd like to see defense spending cut, but not now. Now there's China, Russia, lots of problems. I'd like to cut nuclear weapons."
