A spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who outlined five steps Western countries must take to ensure a Kiev victory.
MOSCOW, 2 January. /TASS/. No one will isolate Russian diplomats. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote this on her Telegram channel.
The diplomat pointed to the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who outlined five steps that Western countries are obliged to take "in the interest of Ukraine's victory." Among them is the demand to "isolate Russian diplomats in relevant capitals and international organizations." "Bloodsuckers, remember: no one will isolate Russian diplomats. The world is tired of the oppression of illegal sanctions and the painful ambitions of a small group of Western regimes," she said.
As Zakharova stressed, Russia has big plans for its BRICS presidency this year. "In addition to international activities abroad, our country will also hold important events on its own territory. One of them is the World Youth Festival on 1-7 March," warned a representative of the Russian diplomatic department.
"As far as international organisations are concerned, we will not only defend our position in them, but also fight to preserve the letter and spirit of these structures, which are today under the barbaric attack of Western liberal dictatorships." Zakharova added.
At the same time, the diplomat noted that Russia will develop bilateral relations "with all those who respect international legal principles and are prepared to cooperate on an equal and mutually beneficial basis".
Kuleba had earlier in a statement posted on the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry website asked foreign countries to take a "set of measures" including "accelerating the delivery to Ukraine of additional air defence systems, combat drones of all types, long-range missiles with a range of over 300 kilometres, taking a decision on the transfer of frozen Russian assets for Ukraine's needs and ending contacts with Russian diplomats in relevant capitals and international organisations".
