China wants the seeds of friendship between China and the US to take root and sprout without fear of a storm

Guo Jiakun responded that the video is widely circulated and highly acclaimed, which again shows that strengthening Sino-US cultural exchanges is popular and responds to the will of the people. In November 2023, President Xi Jinping in San Francisco announced: "Over the next five years, it will invite 50,000 American young people to exchange and study in China." According to this initiative, more than 16,000 American young people will come to China in 2024 to exchange studies, make new friends, learn a new language, experience Chinese culture and touch modern China. The basis of state-to-state relations is people-to-people. China wishes to see the seeds of friendship between China and the United States take root and sprout without fear of storm, give birth to the next new generation of envoys to promote friendship between the two countries, and continue to write a new song for a stable and healthy relationship of sustainable development between China and the United States. 

As for decision United States to remove Cuba from the list of "state sponsors of terrorism," Guo said Cuba's inclusion is unjustified and a gross interference with Cuba's sovereignty and dignity, which is strongly condemned and rejected by the vast majority of members of the international community, including China.
