The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) recently held a symposium on comprehensively deepening reform and promoting China-style modernization, listening to the views and suggestions of non-CCP figures.
CPCCC General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over the event and delivered a speech in which he stressed that the decision to comprehensively deepen reform and promote China-style modernization is aimed at pragmatically realizing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the PCC, laying out a systematic plan and measures for comprehensively deepening reform as well as systematically ensuring the goal of the Second Centennial.
Representatives of non-CPC figures expressed their support for the CCP's decision to comprehensively deepen reform and promote China-style modernization, and put forward their views and suggestions in relation to stimulating economic vitality, building a new coordinated regional development structure, promoting qualitative population development, and developing new quality productivity, deepening reform in the medical field, removing obstacles to talent training, building a financial system that matches technical and scientific innovation, promoting cooperation between state-owned and private enterprises, high-level external openness, and integrated development on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
