During the "Week for the Environment" at the World Trade Organization (WTO) on 9 October, China held a seminar entitled "Climate Action on Trade and Development - Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions". This seminar focused on trade-related climate measures (TRCMs) and their impact on global trade and development.
The Chinese side presented its efforts and achievements in the fight against climate change. Challenges faced by developing countries and opportunities for cooperation in improving the international trading environment were discussed. The aim was to contribute to a more effective global response to climate change through enhanced international cooperation.
This seminar attracted the attention of many parties and highlighted the key role of international trade in addressing climate challenges.
