TEL AVIV, June 14. Israel has already destroyed a large part of the Iranian army's stockpile of ballistic missiles during the operation against Iran that began on the night of 13 June, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video message to the Iranian people distributed by his office.
"In the past 24 hours, we have eliminated top military commanders, senior nuclear scientists, the Islamic regime's most important uranium enrichment facilities and much of its ballistic missile arsenal. More are on the way," he said.
According to Netanyahu, the Iranian authorities are disoriented after the attack by Israel, do not know what has befallen them and what awaits them in the near future, and "have never been weaker". In this context, he called on Iranians to launch a struggle to overthrow the government.
On the night of June 13, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, targeting Iran's nuclear program. The Israeli Defence Forces announced that 200 fighter jets attacked more than 100 targets in Iran, including nuclear facilities.
On the evening of 13 June, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that Iran had attacked dozens of targets in Israel, including military installations and air bases, with rockets in retaliation, hitting in particular the Ministry of Defence building in Tel Aviv. Jewish state officials acknowledged that a number of targets were hit, but assured that most of the rockets were intercepted.
