MOSCOW, 8 February. Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus discussed a number of topical international issues, including preparations for a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, the Kremlin press service said.
„Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by telephone with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The presidents discussed preparations for a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union of Russia and Belarus. They also touched on a number of topical issues on the international agenda,“ the press service said.
State Secretary of the Union State Sergei Glazyev said earlier that the Supreme State Council would meet in Moscow on 25 February.
