South Korea's Constitutional Court upholds the removal of the president from office

SEOUL, April 4. South Korea's Constitutional Court has unanimously upheld the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, sealing his removal from office, a courtroom report said.

Parliament removed the president from office on 14 December after imposing martial law in the country. Lawmakers said the measure was introduced in violation of the constitution. The President has denied any wrongdoing.
