North Korean state media did not immediately confirm the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belousov, a former economist, replaced Sergei Shoigu as defense minister in May after Russian President Vladimir Putin began his fifth term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong><em>Photos released by the Defense Ministry show Belousov walking alongside North Korean Defense Minister No Kwang Chol on the red carpet at Pyongyang airport.
