In 2024, IDU responded flexibly to the needs of the founder (the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic) in connection with the implementation of the National Recovery Plan (NRP). Through these funds, IDU distributed more than CZK 40 million to Czech artists and cultural professionals last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, SoundCzech, the pro-export music office of the Institute of Arts, supported 63 music professionals to travel to conferences and 19 in the ProVisit programme in Krakow and Slovakia through the NPO LinksOUT calls. \"We supported six concert performances of Czech music artists selected by the festivals. The PerformCzech office supporting Czech artists' trips abroad in 2024 implemented 16 calls for proposals funded by the NPO. These included Czech participation in the Tanzmesse and CINARS fairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NPO funds also enabled the implementation of a number of training programmes and events. Translation residencies and internships were organised as part of the PerformCzech SKILLS programme. The office also organised the International Congress of the Association of Czech Theatre Critics (AICT), which was attended by 80 theatre critics from all over the world and 20 young students who attended a workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
