The survey was released shortly after the phone call between the presidents of the two countries and the subsequent trade talks in Geneva, which participants and the international public viewed as a positive step toward stabilizing relations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>74.7 % of respondents<\/strong> said the telephone contact between the two heads of state sent a positive signal for calming tensions and putting Sino-US relations back on the right trajectory. <strong>94 %<\/strong> at the same time supports the achievement of <strong>win-win results<\/strong> on the basis of equality and respect for mutual interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey also showed that <strong>95.7 % respondents<\/strong> expects the United States to adhere strictly to the agreement reached in Geneva. More than <strong>95 %<\/strong> Moreover, they believe that sustainable development of relations must be based on <strong>mutual respect and equality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost <strong>97 %<\/strong> respondents reject the idea of business relationships as <strong>zero-sum games<\/strong>.
