Both nations have promised to take all necessary steps to protect their national interests.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>The U.S. government has threatened to impose tough tariffs starting August 1, targeting countries that have not signed bilateral trade agreements. Among them is Brazil, which is to face a 50% tariff on its exports to the United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>India is also defending itself.
