In Beijing, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and China Media Group (CMG) signed a framework agreement on media cooperation and jointly launched the construction of a national corpus on the theme of \u201espirit of craftsmanship and skills\u201c.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following performers appeared at the ceremony: Xu Liuping<\/strong>, secretary of the party leadership and first secretary of the ACFTU secretariat, and Shen Haixiong<\/strong>, Vice-Chairman of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of CMG. Both emphasised that the agreement and deepening cooperation in areas such as news reporting and artificial intelligence (AI) represent a concrete step towards fulfilling the principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, with the aim of building a new media communication framework for working with workers and trade unions in the new era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shen Haixiong added that the newly launched national corpus will leverage CMG's \u201e5G+4K\/8K+AI\u201c technological advantages to innovatively spread the spirit of craftsmanship in the digital age. Xu Liuping said that the ACFTU and CMG have long worked closely together to create influential and high-quality projects that unite and mobilise people around common goals. In the future, both sides want to strengthen cooperation and create new flagship projects that reflect the spirit of the times and promote social respect for work and workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the agreement, both parties will focus on strategic leadership, creating quality content, and actively utilising modern technologies such as AI and big data. The planned cooperation includes the development of craft IP, the creation of cultural projects, and the deepening of cooperation in news reporting and public communication with the aim of building a comprehensive media system and creating communication brands with global reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national corpus on the \u201espirit of craftsmanship and skills\u201c, developed jointly by ACFTU and CMG, integrates multimodal audio and video data and systematically collects skills and experiences from a wide range of industries, creating a multidimensional digital labelling system. Combined with AI technologies, it will enable the distillation of representative cases and support the innovative digital dissemination of the spirit of craftsmanship and the image of Chinese master craftsmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
