On 12 February local time, a special event was held in Hamburg as a prelude to the China Media Group (CMG) Spring Festival Gala Dinner. The whole world is watching the CMG Gala, and this event in Germany was a major precursor to it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was jointly organised by CMG and the German-Chinese Friendship Association in Hamburg. Shen Haixiong (Shen Haixiong), Vice Minister for Publicity of the CPC Central Committee of China and President of CMG, together with the Mayor of Hamburg, gave a video greeting. Among the more than 120 guests were representatives of the political, business and cultural circles of China and Germany, as well as consuls general of various countries based in Hamburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shen Haixiong<\/strong> He pointed out that the CMG Spring Festival Gala has been held for 43 years and is one of the largest annual cultural events in the world in terms of viewership. It has become a \u201espiritual New Year's Eve banquet\u201c that reaches out to Chinese people around the world. Last year, CMG, through its multilingual international communications network, worked with more than 3,100 media companies to bring the spirit of Chinese Lunar New Year to a global audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's CMG Gala Evening will use the technological innovation of \u201e5G+4K\/8K+AI\u201c and broadcasting in 85 languages to bring a rich cultural feast to audiences at home and abroad.
