He stressed that the organization also makes significant contributions to the development of education, science and culture and actively participates in the reform of global governance in these fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Chinese President, China has long supported UNESCO's work and is ready to further expand strategic cooperation so that its results bring concrete benefits to people around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xi Jinping pointed out that although peace, development and cooperation remain the main trend of the present, manifestations of hegemonism, unilateral actions and Cold War thinking are reappearing in the world. That is why, he said, it is important to uphold genuine multilateralism and strengthen the authority of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xi Jinping said China is ready to promote its global initiatives with UNESCO and expand cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence, open science and digital education.
