YEREVAN, Dec 25 - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he would have to skip an informal meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States leaders near Russia's second-largest city of St Petersburg after his COVID-19 test came back positive.
His participation in the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is unclear.
"On Monday, December 23, my COVID test came back positive. On 23 and 24 December I isolated myself and worked at my place of residence. Another test, conducted on December 25, was negative, so I returned to my normal official duties," Pashinyan wrote on your Facebook account .
"However, after talking with my colleagues, I have decided not to attend the informal CIS summit in St Petersburg on Wednesday," He added. "I will decide by the end of the day whether I will attend the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council."
