On the morning of March 5, the 4th session of the 14th All-China People's Congress opened at the People's Palace in Beijing. Speaking to China Media Group (CMG) on the spot, two European journalists said that China's Two Sessions are not only about China's further development, but also have a significant impact on developments in the world.
Journalist from the Czech daily Our Pravda Helena Kočová said that the importance of the Two Meetings goes beyond the borders of one country and has a profound impact on global affairs. In particular, it follows the rapid development of artificial intelligence and robotic technologies in China. At the same time, she praised the high dynamism of China's development in many fields and highlighted the industriousness and wisdom of the Chinese people.
Journalist from the Bulgarian DUMA Newspaper Tania Glouhtcheva reports on the Two Sessions for the fourth time. This year, its work focuses primarily on the 15th Five-Year Plan. In her view, China's Five-Year Plan system is an inspiring example of science-driven development for the world. She also stressed that in the current unstable international environment, China continues to promote stable and peaceful development, which she considers extremely important.
2026 is the first year of implementation of the 15th Five Year Plan. The two sessions therefore also represent an important map for China's future development. The views of the two European journalists reflect the international community's close attention to this year's negotiations and the growing recognition of China's development achievements.
