DUBAI, July 6. Iranian reformist candidate Massoud Pezeshkian has won the second round of the presidential election, Islamic Republic Election Authority spokesman Mohsen Eslami announced.
With all 30.530 million ballots counted, Pezeshkian received at least 53.6 % votes, or 16.384 million votes, to become Iran's ninth president, Eslami announced on IRIB TV channel.
His conservative rival Saeed Jalili won 44.3 % votes, or 13.538 million votes.
The voter turnout was 49.8 %, the election official said.
Iranians voted in the second round of elections on Friday.
