Pavel Krejčí, palm leaf library expert, traveller, psychotherapist and zen creator. His name was mentioned in 2009 in the palm leaf list of the Shiva hopeful as the person to bring palm leaf readers to Europe for the first time. He returns to India regularly, giving seminars and writing books.
You interpret palm leaf readings for the interested parties. How did you get into palm leaves? Fate?
In 2008, during one of my occasional shopping sprees, I gifted myself a bag of new books for fun. I had a habit of flipping through them all first. I picked up "Prophecies of Europe from the Palm Leaf Libraries" by Thomas Ritter. The cover? Not much. Why did I take it to bed the same night? I don't know. I read, "In India, there are libraries of palm leaves created by holy rishis for those who will come to ask their fate at some future time." I thought it was crazy, but I never looked up from reading. I read all night, all day, and then? I picked up the phone and asked the German author for a place on his next expedition to South India. It's my habit, I always go straight to the source.
Do you think you were destined?
I guess so. I have to admit that at the very beginning it was mostly curiosity. But then things started to fall into place in a strange way. Right after my first reading, I felt the need to somehow share my experience with others. I didn't understand it. After all, I had done my homework. I had visited the library, found the letter, and it had been read to me. What more could I want? Maybe that's why I started taking notes and incorporated them into my first book. The second moment was a kind of maturing need to share the ancient mystery of the palm leaf with the people of Europe. When I could not convince the famous palm leaf reader Shiva (Veeraperumal Shivashanmugam), who had read the leaves of many eminent statesmen, actors and clergymen, to come to Europe in 2010, I asked him to open his palm leaf and ask whether he should come to Europe or not. Indeed, he found in the letter that he was indeed to go to Europe in the memorable year 2010, and even the name Paul was mentioned - the person who was to accompany him to Europe.
Do they also have important personalities of the Czech Republic read their palm leaves?
Yes, for example, actor Václav Postránecký, opera singer Dagmar Pecková, moderator and singer Lenny, writer Daniela Fischerová, actor Mario Kubec, founder of healing theatre Gabriela Filippi, therapist Eva Velechovská... and many others. You can read their testimonies on the website.
When and why were the letters written?
The palm leaves were written by the seven sages (Septha Rishies) 6 to 7 thousand years ago for those who would come to ask their fate at some point in the future. Why did these wise men actually do such work for posterity? They knew that the present challenging time of "Kali Yuga" (Dark Age) would come, when civilization would be dominated by the material, when man would be judged by what he has and not by what he can do, when one political party would succeed another, so that the day after their election politicians would forget their promise and devote their efforts to their own benefit. They knew that the media would be dominated by violence and sex and culture by cheap global entertainment for the broad material masses.
So the owners of their leaf can contribute to changing the vibration on the planet through their own "correction"? Should I see this as a service?
Yes. We can take it to mean that a life lived in accordance with our life plan will bring us more happiness and health. We will choose a great life partner and create optimal conditions for the development of our children's talents and studies. In this way, we will succeed in understanding ourselves and fulfilling our mission in life. If the planet is full of happy people, it will shine only with positive vibrations.
How many sheets are there in the library? Does every person living on earth have a leaf?
Theories talk about different numbers, but none of them appeal to me. The number 80,000 is often quoted, and one theory is that the people the palm fronds reach are those who have been in high vibrations in past incarnations. Another theory says that the one who is supposed to reach the palm leaf has the palm leaf (or the record in the palm leaf)... I probably like the second theory the most personally. Generally in palm leaf libraries there are not only scrolls describing the fates of people, but there is also information about continents, countries and nations.
So do you know the fate of our nation, the Czech Republic?
You know asking for a palm leaf reading for a country or a continent is a big responsibility and it is not easy to prepare the ground for such a precious reading. I know how to do it. But in general, persons who have influence on the course of things can request such a service. If I were to ask for a reading of the fate of our nation, let us ask ourselves the question, which of our own or European statesmen should I subsequently visit and give him such material? I apologize to our fellow citizens, but so far I have not met any visionary for whom I would be willing to prepare such a thing.
Did it happen that a sheet for a certain "client" was not found in the library?
Yes. But in my travels to India, many of the readers I met mentioned our country and Japan as places where a really large number of people have palm leaves.
What is your personal experience? What has reading brought you?
I did my first reading back in 2009. Since then I have had more readings and I can say that I encounter my palm leaf whenever I am faced with a major life or work decision. Reportedly, many statesmen not only in India "routinely" use their palm leaves for their decisions.
So the leaf can be read repeatedly? Do I understand correctly that each subsequent reading reveals different aspects or adds pieces to the story already told? Or can the "story" also change radically?
If the first reading has not been restricted in any way, the second reading may proceed to the next reading. I would probably avoid the word "unfolded story", because the word "retelling" may pop in. Again, what is not a phrase is that "At any given moment, all that is to be heard is said" - no more, no less!
How should one prepare for reading?
We will prepare about six key specific questions in advance. If we are about to make some major decisions in our personal life (getting married, planning to have a child, buying a flat, building a house, moving abroad...) it is advisable to ask for another palm leaf reading, unless the first reading was somehow time-limited. For example, one client's second reading may have taken place after she turned 30. For the second or subsequent reading, again prepare about six essential questions in advance. These can be very specific, for example, if the first reading specified a period for finding a suitable partner and he or she has already entered the life, it is advisable to ask about compatibility, for example, where approximately 15 parameters of compatibility are examined (understanding, finances, intimate life...) and perhaps also a suitable wedding date. Often people ask about a specific project, whether it concerns their personal life or their business. Even in these cases, we can get valuable information that saves us time and effort. If we are interested, we can ask for the exact date of death. Ideally, if the interested person "comes up" his questions in meditation, in a dream, etc. If not, we formulate them in a waking state with a relaxed mind.
As we read, we learn what our destiny is, what we are destined to do. What if we don't like it? Can we reverse our destiny?
I've never said to any magazine what I'm going to say to you. The palm leaf and working with it is normal consulting. We are connecting unmediated to our SOURCE and our SCENARIO for this life. If we agree that we need counseling from time to time, the palm leaf can be a useful tool. After all, we don't have to go far to learn that even Albrecht of Wallenstein used Italian stargazers and astrologers for his strategic decisions. The palm leaf is a philosophy of accessing ourselves, taking full responsibility for ourselves to work on our optimal life plan. I always sought out an oracle when I traveled the world and had something predicted. Sometimes the prediction came true, sometimes it didn't. I was a passive consumer of what was predicted. With a palm leaf, I don't have to passively wait to see if something happens or not? The day after reading the leaf, we can realize our life, purify karma and work on ourselves, and we also don't have to wait for the last judgement after the last breath in this incarnation on mother earth... If the palm leaf didn't include a "package" of remedies, I would never have taken up palm leaves! Included in the palm leaf is a chapter on what we can do to counteract the negative things we would rather avoid in the future. After the palm leaf is read, the reader processes this chapter and we receive it in written or electronic form.
Palm leaf and working with it is normal advice. We connect to our source and to our script.
What do we mean by a 'package of remedies'?
Some people see the information regarding remediation as some "multi-cost" palm leaf reading. This is a mistake. We took responsibility for ourselves and completed the first palm leaf reading. It will remain just a reading of the information unless we implement corrections, clear our karma or suppress the negative astrological influence of the planets on our person. No one is going to do it for us, no health minister or defense minister. We are the creators of our own luck. The work we do is usually not only for ourselves, but also for our children and grandchildren.
The remedy is a unique part of the Vedic scriptures where the ancient sages come up with defining rituals for purifying karma and eliminating the negative astrological influence of the planets. The problems of the present life are the result of the karmic debt of the past life. Thanks to Vedic astrology, it is possible to work actively with karma in the present life. These solutions - the Pariharas - apply to all kinds of human difficulties. The remedies generally involve the recitation of mantras and the performance of special rituals at precisely specified points that directly affect the current stage of our life. These include poojas (read: puja), mantras and rituals, making a gift (e.g. treating or gifting poor people) or vagya - wearing a ring or a special necklace, etc. All these solutions depend on the kind of dosha we have. Dosha is the Sanskrit word for "corruption, adversity, danger". There are different types of dosha such as Manglika Dosha, Sarpa Dosha, Kalasarpa Dosha, Putra Dosha, Pitra Dosha and others. All these doshas can be overcome by practical solutions.
Some of the solutions we can do ourselves, for example by reciting mantras or visiting the places where the karmic debt occurred, others can be done for us by a brahmin, priest or shaman. Some are completely original and always depend on the palm leaf reader and his skill in preparing them for us. The remedy may not always be to visit Hindu temples, but if they are transcribed by the palm leaf reader, it is the most effective way of working on ourselves. It can be said that as a rule we are to go back to the place where the karmic imbalance arose in a past life and clear the karmic debt, whether it was in Prague, Peru, India, or Sri Lanka.
Any client experience at the end?
So here's Milady's experience: "After the reading and subsequent cleansing, the relationship with my husband improved. The marriage is flowing peacefully and is now really beautiful. During the palm leaf reading, I was also given information about my past life, an incarnation that has a major impact on my present life. It was the life of a pirate who stole ships and probably other things. Maybe for these reasons I don't like water very much and marine animals make me sick to my stomach. There was a karmic debt in a past life that I brought into the present. So I'm still trying to work on myself. I'm glad I got the opportunity to learn why certain things happen in my life that I don't understand. Life is beautiful and I keep repeating to myself the words of Paul who told me that my only purpose on Earth is to be happy. And I am!"
