On 26 September, the cultural event "Common Fate, Common Future" was held in Budapest, co-organised by China Media Group (CMG), Hungarian Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund and Hungarian-China Friendship Association. The event highlighted the growing cultural links between the two countries and featured the documentary film "L.E. HUDEC".
CMG President Shen Haixiong said that relations between China and Hungary have reached a new level in recent years. The documentary "L.E. HUDEC", produced by CMG, presents the life and legacy of the architect, whose buildings have influenced the shape of Shanghai and become a symbol of the Czech-Hungarian-Chinese connection.
Chinese Ambassador Gong Tao appreciated that the film's broadcast in Hungary strengthens cultural ties and contributes to greater understanding between nations. Hungarian Deputy Minister of Culture Csaba Gabor and the chairwoman of the Friendship Association Nagy Judit stressed that culture and art are the basis for stable diplomatic and economic relations.
The film "L.E. HUDEC" was broadcast on Hungarian public television in prime time and has seen increasing ratings, with plans for a repeat during the year.
