MOSCOW - The VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held in Moscow on 26-28 November 2025 Greater Eurasia: national and civilisational aspects of development and cooperation. It is one of the most important professional forums focusing on geopolitics, economic development and civilizational processes in the Eurasian area. Scientists, analysts, political scientists and representatives of state structures will once again head to the Russian capital to jointly assess the key challenges of our time.
The conference is being held under the leadership of the University of World Civilizations in cooperation with a number of other important institutions - for example, the Eurasian Information and Analysis Consortium, the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Eurasian Economic Integration, the Russian Center for Scientific Information, and MGIMO of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Support is also provided by specialised research institutions, academic organisations and associations that have long been involved in development and cooperation in the region.

The meeting will focus on the most pressing issues of socio-economic, technological and cultural development in Eurasia. Participants will discuss the development of the geopolitical situation, the possibilities of scientific and technological cooperation, as well as how to strengthen stability and dialogue between the countries. Experienced experts and young scientists are welcome to present their own research work - participation is possible in person, remotely or by sending a paper.

The organisers stress that the aim is not only an academic exchange of views, but also the formulation of concrete recommendations and proposals that can be used in practice. The results of the conference should contribute to the development of scientific cooperation, to the strengthening of the technological base of individual countries and to a more stable, interconnected Eurasian area.

According to the organizers, the conference is expected to result in recommendations for government and academic institutions, proposals for expanding international scientific cooperation, and specific projects aimed at technological development and strengthening educational programs.
The meeting is also intended to contribute to a deeper understanding between the countries of Eurasia and to the development of a long-term dialogue based on mutual respect, sharing of experience and common responsibility for the stability of the region.
