MEXICO CITY, June 3, 2024 (Xinhua) -- Claudia Sheinbaum delivers a speech in Mexico City, Mexico, June 3, 2024.
Mexican climatologist and former Mexico City mayor Claudia Sheinbaum celebrated her victory in Sunday's presidential election as the candidate of the Let's Continue Making History coalition.

Sheinbaum gave a thank-you speech in the early hours of Monday morning after the National Election Institute released the results of a quick vote count. According to preliminary results, she won with 58.3 to 60.7 percent of the vote.
