DUBAI, Jan 21. /TASS/. An Indian plane flying to Moscow has crashed in the northeast of Afghanistan, Aamaj news agency reported citing local sources.
The plane belonging to an Indian company crashed in Badakhshan province due to a technical fault, the agency said without specifying the model of the aircraft and the estimated number of people on board.
A representative of the Taliban (banned in Russia) in Badakhshan province confirmed to Khaama Press that a team has been sent to the region to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
