A round table on Investment in Kazakhstan was held in Prague, where we had the honour to host representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Czech businessmen and academics. The event was held to deepen economic and cultural ties between the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan.
The main topic of the panel discussion was an introduction to Kazakhstan, its investment opportunities and export possibilities. Prominent experts highly evaluated the investment conditions for foreign investors in Kazakhstan. Mr. František Masopust, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Czech Chamber of Commerce with Eastern Europe and Central Asia, shared his experience of cooperation with Kazakhstan. In his speech he pointed out the high support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Economist Ms. Yana Markova, in turn, highlighted the key and favourable geopolitical role of Kazakhstan in the field of investment and business development.
Scholars and highly qualified experts focused primarily on the historical and economic situation of Kazakhstan, discussing important historical milestones, economic development and current trends affecting the investment climate in the country.
Shareholders and top managers of Czech companies also presented their innovative projects, technologies and business strategies that could bring mutually beneficial opportunities for cooperation with Kazakhstan. After the presentation, they expressed their willingness to undertake a business mission to Kazakhstan.
Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Czech Republic met with experts and representatives of the business community. This segment allowed to discuss specific investment opportunities in more detail, to establish valuable contacts and to open the door for future cooperation.
