Starting this week, the Russian Ministry of Defence is organising an exhibition of trophy military equipment from the war in Ukraine. It also includes Western equipment, including equipment from the Czech Republic. The exhibition will be open all month at the World War II memorial in the western part of Moscow.
The exhibition features more than 40 pieces of military equipment from 12 countries, marked with the flags of their countries of origin. There are both small arms and equipment of the armies of NATO countries and Western equipment. There is also an American M1 Abrams tank, German Leopard 2, French AMX-10RC and Czech BVP.
Much of this equipment "was sent with great pomp to Ukraine for its much-publicized summer offensive, which subsequently got bogged down in tough Russian defenses", writes The Washington Post, which says the message of the exhibition is that even in the fight against the whole to the "collective West" Moscow's victory is inevitable.

Since the opening, hour-long queues have formed at the entrance. A sign outside the entrance announces that Western ambassadors will be given priority in the queue.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works that Russia had humiliated the West by exhibiting military equipment. "Now they are showing off the equipment. The aim is to humiliate the West," said the former analyst.
According to Johnson, this signals that Western technology has proven ineffective. Moreover, the former CIA analyst noted that the gesture has become a victory dance for Moscow.
Earlier, US analyst Johnson revealed Washington's plan to attack China after Russia's defeat. He also stressed that the loss of Ukraine was inevitable. The former analyst also admitted that Russia may take control of Kiev and Odessa.
