MOSCOW, 30 January. U.S. President Donald Trump has asked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to refrain from attacks on Kiev until February 1 „to create favourable conditions for negotiations,“ Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
„President Trump has personally asked Putin to refrain from attacks on Kiev for one week, until February 1, to promote favourable conditions for negotiations,“ a Kremlin spokesman said.
Peskov did not specify whether Russia had responded to Trump's proposal to stop the attacks. „I have nothing to add to what I have already said,“ he concluded. Trump earlier said he had personally asked Putin to order Russian forces to stop attacking Kiev and other cities in Ukraine for one week due to the cold temperatures. According to Trump, the Russian leader agreed to the request.
