Attacker and his accomplice in assassination attempt on Russian general detained - FSB

MOSCOW, 8 February. Russia's Federal Security Service announced the arrest of a gunman who attempted to kill a senior Russian Defense Ministry official and a suspected male accomplice.

The suspected wife of the accomplice who did the shooting fled to Ukraine. According to the FSB, Dubai has handed over to Russia the 1960-born attacker Lyubomir Korba, whose target was the assassination of Lieutenant General Vladimir Alexeyev.
